Our programs
Our programs
We pick a clear problem, look for a practical solution, and build a program around it. Here are the three we're starting with.
Learn
Starting nowThe problem
A lot of information about healthy eating is loud, confusing, or built to sell something. It's hard to know what's real.
What we plan to do
- Plain, practical guides to organic whole food — what it is and why it matters.
- Simple ways to eat organic whole food on a real budget.
- Honest information, in plain language, with no fear tactics.
How you can help
- Read and share our guides when they're ready.
- Tell us what questions you have — we'll write to answer them.
- Help us write or design plain-language materials.
Grow Local
Starting nowThe problem
Local organic farmers grow wonderful food, but many people don't know they're there.
What we plan to do
- Mapping local organic farms, markets and co-ops in the Seattle area.
- Promoting local organic farmers so more people can find and buy from them.
- Telling the stories of the people who grow our food.
How you can help
- Tell us about a farm, market or co-op we should know about.
- Connect us with farmers who'd like to be featured.
- Help with photography, video or writing.
Reach
In planningThe problem
In many neighborhoods, organic whole food is hard to find or hard to afford.
What we plan to do
- Learning where access is missing and why.
- Working with local farms, markets and community groups.
- Building small, practical ways to get organic food to more people.
How you can help
- Tell us about a neighborhood that needs better access.
- Connect us with a community organization that could partner.
- Share your time to help us understand the problem.
